Organic Rye Flakes
What is it?
Rye flakes are made from rye grains which are flattened (and cut) between rollers that are rotating in opposite direction.
Biodynamically grown here in New Zealand
Where can I use it?
They are great in mueslis and granolas, lightly toasted with dried fruit, a drizzle of honey, sunflower or pumpkin seeds and some nuts. Rye Flakes can also be used as a replacement for Oat Flakes.
Anything important?
Contains Gluten. Demeter and BioGro certified. Grown and processed here in New Zealand.
Don't keep them in plastic bags, because they are a bit moist, so they can easily go moldy in a tight up plastic bag.

Hurray, finally a great source of edible high fibre, and in a grain that is not easily found in NZ, and the quality is really good. Fantastic!
