Organic Psyllium Husk
What is it?
The seeds of the Plantago plant. Grown in the cool, dry climate of northern India. Awesome for increasing your fibre intake!
What are the nutritional benefits?
Psyllium is revered as a dietary fiber supplement. Research has shown it may also help in reducing blood cholesterol levels. It provides a massive 80% soluble to insoluble fibre compared to grains which provide mainly the insoluble 'roughage' kind. It's like a broom for your insides!
Where can I use it?
You can increase your fibre intake by adding a teaspoon of Organic Psyllium Husk to your daily diet. Add it to your smoothies, juices, cereals or baking. It's also awesome as a food thickener so you can add it to sauces or even ice cream.
Anything important?
Certified organic.
Note: Psyllium absorbs liquid so it is very important to drink plenty of water when taking this herb.

Very happy with this product and the best price I have found it for sale, thank you Family Pantry, and will definitely be buying again from you.
I brought this product to add to my cereal or muesli for a little extra fibre. It works well if you don't add too much and just a little extra of your milk of choice. I am happy with the product.
