Organic Brown Linseed (Flaxseed) — NZ Grown

Grown right here in New Zealand and certified organic, our brown linseed (also known as flaxseed) is a genuine nutritional powerhouse. With an impressive profile of omega-3 fatty acids, dietary fibre, and plant-based protein, it's one of the most versatile superfoods you can add to your pantry.

What are they?

Linseeds are the seeds of the flax plant and are widely known as flaxseed. Our variety is grown in New Zealand under certified organic conditions — no synthetic pesticides, no additives, just pure whole seed. They have a mild, nutty flavour that works beautifully in both sweet and savoury applications.

Nutritional benefits

Linseeds are rich in essential omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which support heart health and a strong immune system. They're also an excellent source of dietary fibre (31.4g per 100g), plant-based protein (22.5g per 100g), B vitamins, and key minerals. Regular consumption is associated with supporting healthy cholesterol levels and blood pressure.

How to use them

Their nutty flavour adds depth to a wide range of dishes. Sprinkle over porridge, yoghurt, or salads; blend into smoothies; stir into soups; or bake into muffins, crackers, loaves, and granola bars. For maximum nutrient absorption, grind before use or soak overnight.
